Our Ever-Present Help

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear....The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” (Psalm 46:1, 11)

Are you a child of God through faith in His Son? Then He has promised to be your ever-present help. He cannot fail, because He is God.

Celebrate God’s Faithfulness

You have His never-failing promise that He holds you in His loving arms. No one can ever snatch you away from Him (John 10:28-29). He will never abandon you. “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). He promises to meet your every need. “My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). He will enable you to cope with all He allows to come into your life. “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).

God’s Unfailing Promise to You

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken” (Isaiah 54:10).

Insight: We’ve done nothing to deserve God’s faithfulness to us, but we can praise Him for every proof of His unfailing love.
