No Condemnation
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." (ROMANS 8:1-2)
Scripture Focus: Romans 8:1-17
She was raised in a Christian home, taught right from wrong and the truth of the gospel. In her early teens, curiosity consumed her. Just as Eve took the forbidden fruit and lost her place in the garden, this young woman found herself outside the "garden" of God.
Multiple partners, drugs and alcohol slowly took their toll. The pain became too great; she tried to numb it with more alcohol and sleeping pills. Life couldn't get any more painful. Her parents had been praying for her all those difficult years. Finally, she surrendered and uttered those hard words, "I am going to rehab."
Now sober, she wondered how she could face her family whom she'd repeatedly disappointed and whose hearts she'd broken.
The answer is the hardest and simplest at once: "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." She has "come home." Regardless of your failures, come home to Jesus whose arms welcome you no matter where you've been.
Insight: Never Let The Shame Of Past Failures Keep You From Glorifying God By Fully Enjoying Him Forever. In Christ, There Is No Condemnation!
