So, What's the Point?
"And God raised us up with Christ in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus." (EPHESIANS 2:6-7)
Scripture Focus: Ephesians 2:1-10
Do you ever wonder what life is all about? Have you ever wondered what the "after life" is all about? That is a different question altogether, isn't it? How short-sighted we typically are, thinking about our brief time on earth! There is more to life than just "this life." The human being is too wonderful to be limited to our few years here. There is more that awaits us.
For those who believe the gospel, there is a wonderful future ahead. Paul tells us that God raised Jesus from the dead for the purpose of showing, in the age to come, the incomparable riches of His grace.
When this life is over, we will see as we are seen by God (that is, with clarity rather than out of focus). We will know just how wonderful and incomparable God's grace is. His grace is unique; no analogy we formulate is adequate to depict the wonder of it. But the ultimate demonstration of it came to us in the person of Jesus Christ. We who believe in Him will further be God's demonstration of His everlasting grace.
Insight: We Need Good Theology, But Our Lives Are The Opportunity To Live Out What We Believe. Let Your Life Be A Testimony Of His Magnificent Grace.
